Annual hosting plus basic website health checks to keep your site secure, up to date and running smoothly. The website is owned by Arcana and managed by Society by Design.

05 — Good to Know
How we'll work together.
Design & revisions
One design direction with two rounds of revisions across the project. Further revisions are quoted separately.
Payment
50% deposit to begin, with the remaining 50% due before the website goes live.
Feedback
To launch on 21 December, feedback is required within 24–48 hours at each stage.
Launch buffer
One week after the live date to resolve any teething issues.
Content
Copy, imagery and documents supplied by Arcana via the shared Google Drive folder.
Hosting & ownership
The website and Squarespace account are owned by Arcana and managed by Society by Design. Hosting and basic website health checks are billed annually at $550. An ongoing retainer is optional and can be discussed.

Terms & conditions.

Scope of Works
This proposal covers only the work outlined in the approved scope. Additional requests, amendments or functionality outside this scope will be quoted separately or billed at the applicable hourly rate.

Revisions
This proposal includes the number of revision rounds stated in the scope. Additional revisions, design changes or requests made after approval will be charged at the applicable hourly rate.

Client Approvals
Work will be submitted for review at each stage. Once written approval is received, any further changes to approved work will be treated as additional work.

Content & Assets
All copy, imagery, brand assets and supporting documentation are to be supplied by the client unless otherwise agreed. Delays in receiving content or approvals may impact the project timeline.

Project Timeline
Timeframes are based on receiving all content and feedback within the agreed review periods. Society by Design is not responsible for delays resulting from late approvals or missing content.

Meetings & Consulting
Project meetings include up to 30 minutes per scheduled meeting. Additional or extended meetings, and strategic, digital, SEO, content or technical advice outside the agreed scope, are charged at:
Website & Digital Support$220 + GST / hr
Minimum charge of 30 minutes applies.

Additional Work
Work outside the approved scope, including additional pages or deliverables, content updates, redesigns, troubleshooting or enhancements, will be quoted separately or billed hourly upon approval.

Custom Development
Custom code, third-party integrations, APIs and advanced platform development are excluded unless specified in the scope, and will be quoted separately prior to commencement.

Third-Party Costs
Third-party costs such as stock photography, fonts, plugins, subscriptions, hosting or software licences require client approval before purchase and will be invoiced separately where applicable.

Payment Terms
Payments are made according to the schedule in this proposal. Invoices are due within 7 days of issue unless otherwise agreed in writing. Work commences once written acceptance and the initial payment are received.

Ownership
Ownership of completed work created specifically for this project transfers to the client upon full payment. Society by Design retains ownership of its processes, methodologies, templates, code libraries and pre-existing intellectual property.

Warranty
Society by Design will rectify defects in the delivered work identified within the support period stated in this proposal (14 days if not specified), provided no third-party modifications have been made after handover.

Proposal Validity
This proposal is valid until 29 November 2026. After this date, pricing, scope and availability may change.

Acceptance
Approval of this proposal, in writing or via email, constitutes acceptance of the scope, investment and terms outlined above.
