Mysa.
Mysa is a Townsville based hair salon with two convenient locations: one situated in a heritage-listed building in the heart of the CBD and one situated in the thriving central part of Townsville's surrounds. Mysa concerns itself with all things comfort and relaxation, and its branding completed in 2023, reflects this ideology.
Mysa’s brandmark represents the frictionless nature of a calm and soothing environment, drawing parallels between this and well-cared-for hair.
The wordmark further leans into the calm nature of the logomark, employing a connected stroke between the ‘S’ and ‘A’ to guide the eye along, with a subtle allusion to the sweeping strokes present in the logomark.
The colour palette was made to seamlessly work alongside the deeper browns of wood and leather and the vibrant green found in plants, which are both found in the salon. Working closely with Mysa to create a warm yet earthy mood was indicative of Mysa’s brand values.
