Terms & Conditions
Scope of Works
This proposal covers only the work outlined within the approved scope. Any additional requests, amendments or functionality outside this scope will be quoted separately or billed at the applicable hourly rate.
Revisions
This proposal includes up to two (2) rounds of revisions per page. Any additional revisions, design changes, or requests after page approval will be charged at the applicable hourly rate.
Client Approvals
Pages will be completed and submitted for review individually. Once written approval is received for a page, any subsequent changes requested to that approved page will be treated as additional work.
Content & Assets
All website copy, imagery, branding assets and supporting documentation are to be supplied by iCOST unless otherwise agreed. Delays in receiving content or approvals may impact the project timeline.
Project Timeline
The estimated completion timeframe is based on receiving all approved copy, imagery and client feedback within the agreed review periods. Society by Design is not responsible for delays resulting from late approvals or missing content.
Meetings & Consulting
Project meetings include up to 30 minutes per scheduled meeting.
Additional meetings, meetings extending beyond 30 minutes, or requests for strategic advice, website reviews, digital marketing recommendations, SEO guidance, information architecture, content strategy or technical consulting outside the agreed scope will be charged at the following rates:
Director Consulting: $300 + GST per hour
Website & Digital Support: $220 + GST per hour
i-COST Fees: $150 + GST per hour
A minimum charge of 30 minutes applies.
Additional Work
Work outside the approved scope, including but not limited to additional pages, content updates, redesign requests, troubleshooting, consulting, or website enhancements, will be quoted separately or billed at the applicable hourly rate upon approval.
Custom Development
Any custom CSS, JavaScript, code injections, third-party integrations, APIs or advanced Squarespace development are excluded from this proposal and will be quoted separately prior to commencement.
Third-Party Costs
Any third-party costs, including premium stock photography, fonts, plugins, subscriptions or software licences not already held by Society by Design or iCOST will require client approval before purchase and will be invoiced separately where applicable.
Payment Terms
A tax invoice will be issued upon acceptance of this proposal.
Payment is due within 7 days of the invoice date unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Work may commence once written approval has been received.
Ownership
Ownership of all completed website content, layouts and design elements created specifically for this project will transfer to iCOST upon receipt of full payment. Society by Design retains ownership of its processes, methodologies, templates, code libraries and intellectual property developed outside the scope of this project.
Warranty
Society by Design will rectify any defects relating to the implemented work identified within 14 days of project completion, provided no third-party modifications have been made to the website after handover.
Acceptance
Approval of this proposal, either in writing or via email, constitutes acceptance of the scope, investment and terms outlined above.
